In May 16 – June 1, 2008, the All Russian Museum of Decorative and Applied Art (Moscow, ul. Delegatskaya, 3) organized the 11th Moscow “Masters” Festival of Children’s Arts and Crafts.

Over 100 establishments of supplementary education from the Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Nizhni Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl Regions and Moscow took part in the Festival.

The debutants were clubs of decorative and applied art of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve. The presented artistic wood-painting (instructor Rudeva T.A.), ceramics (instructor Rudeva E.V.), weaving (instructor Khramtsova N.N.).

The organizers and guests of the Festival appreciated works of our clubs. They mentioned their warm attitude towards folk traditions, knowledge of the material, skill of the teachers and great interest of the club members.

During the next “Masters” Festival the clubs of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve will take part in the exhibition and in master-classes as well.
