In May, 28 – 31, 2009, the 11th All-Russian Museum Festival “Inter-Museum- 2009 was held in Pavilion № 57 at the All Russian Exhibition Center. The theme of the festival was “The museums of Russia – a space of cultural innovations”. The organizing committee planned “collective discussions of innovations in the museum work and comprehension of the museum interpretation of the most modern, innovatory and bold events and achievements in contemporary history and culture”.

- The Museum infrastructure for a young visitor
- Science in the museumНаука в музее.
Our Museum project “Infra-structure of the Sergiev Posad Museum for children” passed the selective tour.

The winner in this nomination was the project “Summer Museum and Ethnographic School on the island Kizhi 2006 - 2008” of the State History, Architecture and Ethnography Museum-Reserve “Kizhi”. Our 6 sq. m of the expositional place were decorated with materials presenting our work with children. There were always people there. We sold two times as many books, compared with the previous year, though the previous year was a peak.

A lot of visitors were interested in the Museum literature, news and educational work. We could see for ourselves again that the museum pedagogues are most active visitors and participants at the exhibitions. The exhibition was useful as it provided an opportunity for new contacts that might lead to new forms of work.
