On August 29, 2009, the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve was invited to the celebration of the Day of Bogorodskoye. Between the Museum and Bogorodskoye there are close friendly relations. The Sergiev Posad State History and Art Museum-Reserve preserves rich collections of folk, applied and decorative art and displays them to public. And the Bogorodskoye factory of artistic wood-carving, being a center of traditional handicraft, takes care of the craftsmen.

On that festive Sunday day the Museum “School of Handicrafts” invited all inhabitants of the settlement to master-classes of pottery, wood-painting, stringing and rag doll making.

Joy of creation, pleasure of team-work, festive atmosphere were achieved thanks to professional and communicative skills of the handicrafts instructors T.A. Rudeva, N.N. Khramtsova, G.N. Rogova, N. Lavrushkin.

The joyful human-height puppets Punch and Buffoon fascinated the children. The festival was a success. It confirmed that we could do anything and certainly a holiday, together!
