The coinage of the Siberian coin - the copper coin minted from December, 5th, till June, 7th, 1781 - may to consider as the interesting fact. It involves by that on Kolyvansky mines quarried ore, in which the silver impurity (and sometimes and gold) has contained; but so insignificant, that division of metals was considered as the unprofitable at level of techniques of metallurgy of 18th century. The new coin has decided to mint from silvery copper intended only for Siberia. Coins has issued by next face-value: “polushka” (mite), denga, kopeck, 2 kopecks, 5 kopecks and 10 kopecks (Ill. 22-23).
In external shape of silver and gold coins have occurred appreciable changes on a threshold of 20th century. From them the portrait has expelled for many years. On coins of Paul I the arms was replace with the crosswise monogram from four «P», and the portrait party was occupied with a cartouche with an inscription: «not to us, not to us, and your name» (Ill. 24).
In 1801 the arms have come back to coins, but on other party there were inscriptions replacing each other of already purely business character. Last change of type of a coin has occurred in 1886, when the portrait of the emperor with a corresponding inscription has placed on coins again, but only this time the head was represent in a profile (Ill.25). In 19th century the coin "fifty-kopeck piece" has been replaced with a coin of "25 kopecks», and "half ruble" - for «50 kopecks», in 1860 in use has entered a coin of "15 kopecks».

So-called medal coins, mainly in connection with opening of monuments, crownings, anniversaries etc., have issued during 19th and in the beginning of 20th century. They have replaced memorable counters, which specially minted before for distribution to the armies, those were taking part in parades on celebrations. In our collection there are the memorable roubles devoted to crowning of Alexander III (1883) and Nikolay II (1896), to opening of monuments to Alexander I (1834), to Nikolay I (1859), to Alexander II (1898), to Alexander III (1912), on the Borodino field (1839) and to the 100 anniversary of a Patriotic War of 1812 (1912) (Ill. 26-28).
Copper coins of Alexander I in 1802-1810 minted in a traditional set of face values of 18th century: a heavy five-kopeck coin, 2 kopecks, kopeck, “denga” and mite.
After currency reform of 1839 the copper coin of new weight and a kind was balanced in the price with silver. A monument of it was the inscription " by silver" located during ten years after a face value designation on all coins of a new series (with 1839 on 1848) from mite to three-kopecks which has appeared then for the first time (Silt. 29). Since 1849 was accomplish change to stamping of new type coins without a word "by silver" with the image of monograms of emperors - Nikolay I and Alexander II. In 1867 last type of the coin has remained and has been entered until 1917.
